A City based role for an experienced PR professional who has worked with clients in the financial technology sector for the position of PR Manager. This is an in-house role but would suit someone from an agency background.

Working with major financial institutions in the City and throughout the World, with offices in 42 countries and over 2300 employees, the company is the World’s leading supplier of banking software.

We need someone with sufficient understanding of financial technology to be able to produce frequent press releases, articles and bylines for financial and national press.

The company aims to be the thought leader in all matters relating to core banking systems technology and the PR Manager will be crucial to achieving this.

Responsibilities will include:

• Planning and execution of PR strategy
• Press calendar planning designed to support corporate PR objectives.
• Identifying and writing feature articles
• Writing weekly press releases
• Manage the creation of the company newsletter
• Manage the external PR agency relationship

The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level, have 5 years very relevant experience and have the confidence and gravitas to present to board on a regular basis.
