This is an excellent opportunity for an established Account Director and/or motivated Account Manager to really shine and get involved with this small but highly successful PR consultancy. With top clients and new business wins an experienced account handler is needed to join the team.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Creating and running strategic PR and communications campaigns
• Implementing community engagement programmes
• Preparing press statements and accurate reports, often under pressure
• Communicating and engaging with local communities, politicians and stakeholders
• Creating and winning new business opportunities
Essential skills needed:
• Confident, persuasive and creative client liaison
• Entrepreneurial and inspirational spirit who can lead with initiative
• Superior writing skills and attention to detail
• Ability to implement and coordinate strategic PR campaigns
• Ability to undertake research and report on emerging political and policy developments
• Full driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout UK (evening and weekend on occasion)
Desirable:
• Experience of events, public consultations and stakeholder liaison
• Knowledge of local government/current affairs
• Property and retail sector background
• Understanding of public affairs and the planning process
