A global business-to-business marketing public relations agency, is seeking an experienced PR Account Manager and strong German writer for the London office to execute strategic public relations programs and help support a fast-growing client base. We are looking for a responsible and positive professional with exceptional German and English writing skills, a confident presence and business style, and at least three years of experience in public relations to join the multicultural team in London. The ideal candidate enjoys working with other talented people in a creative, collaborative and fast-paced environment. Also, strong managerial and organisational skills combined with a down-to-earth and hands-on approach are needed.

Qualifications include:
o Exceptional German and English writing skills, with strong grammar and vocabulary knowledge (German native)
o Minimum 3 years of PR agency experience
o Technical writing experience or journalism background required
o Aptitude for understanding technology-based businesses.
o Experience working with trade and business media, especially packaging, food and beverage, chemicals, plastics and life sciences
o Client and media relationship-building skills
o Willingness to travel across Europe and to the United States
o In addition to German, additional European language skills are a plus

Responsibilities include:
o Serving as main point of contact with clients; building client relationships and providing strategic counsel on public relations initiatives
o Writing and editing feature articles, testimonial stories, copy, press releases etc.
o Managing account teams
o Cultivating relationships with key pan-European trade and business media to develop strong editorial coverage
o Tracking PR coverage and logging placements into internal database
o Working with colleagues around the globe and developing strategies and ideas for campaigns and/or programmes
