This is a great role in a small PR team which is part of a much bigger marketing and advertising agency. You’ll have extensive client liaison both on the phone and face to face, so will need to drive as clients are based all over the UK, however a company car is part of the package.
We’re looking for someone who can develop an interesting story/angle around the basic facts. You may need to write up to five press releases a day so must be able to work quickly yet creatively and accurately.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Attend monthly client meetings and report on the months activities
• Offer the client added value by a proactive approach to their requirements
• Researching and writing press releases and placing stories with the national press
• Journalist liaison and building relationships with key contacts
• Manage several accounts as well as involvement in new business pitches
• Write copy for company’s marketing collateral
• Oversee and mentor junior members of staff
