Sponsorship Marketing Manager for a global organisation specialising large scale B2B corporate events and trade shows throughout the world. This is a great opportunity for a creative confident marketer to really make their mark in an international business.
The main function of the role is to generate a high volume of quality leads for the sponsorship sales team. Working to targets, this role is ideally suited to a commercially minded go-getter with the ability to fuse rigorous planning and analysis with creative flair.
This is an exciting role for someone that is incredibly commercial minded as well as innovative. You will need at least 2 years marketing experience ideally in conferencing or publishing, with a strong onus of digital marketing and new media.
Responsibilities will include:
• Working with the Marketing Director and team leaders to identify existing events in the portfolio where they can have most impact and putting together strategies that will deliver the most leads and revenue
• Planning a multi channel campaign for each event to fully exploit all possible opportunities for enquiry generation
• Digital strategies to maximise SEO, develop Social Media tactics and drive lead generation
• Demonstrate good English grammar in writing copy for emails and letters
• Track all activities using Google Analytics and in-house CRM system, continuously monitor results and adjust plan accordingly
• Work on business-wide projects to generate more sponsorship sales e.g. web portal development, market research, modelling buyer personas, etc.
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of e-marketing, online marketing, social media and inbound marketing. Ideally you’ll also have experience of event sponsorship and will definitely need an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to self-improvement and success.
